The Future of Education in the Climate and Biodiversity Crisis

This year marks the 50th anniversary of the founding of the OU – a globally recognised radical idea in post-war British education democratising access to higher education:

Our mission: open to people, places, methods and ideas. A truly radical idea.

We are also facing unprecedented climate and biodiversity emergencies.

Business as usual isn’t an option. Nor is education as usual – We need to get radical again!

I will share some radical ideas about the future of higher education – and what this means in terms of the climate and biodiversity emergencies we now face.
